Mona, in every county in the state of FL the evaluation is due by the anniversary date of your letter of intent. The county cannot impose a date by which all homeschooling parents must submit the evaluations. The state law states that the parent has one year from the date of their letter of intent to homeschool, and then every year after that the evaluation is due before the anniversary of the date of your letter of intent.

Would you be so kind to pass the word re our Prom for home school high school students? (At The Palace Grand April 20th)This would be a wonderful opportunity for those who would like to go to a prom, but are unaware there is one coming up in April just for home school students.. This year is my children’s first year of homeschool and we love it. They look relaxed! they enjoy while learning and they learn all the time! We go to church so they socialize and have tons of friends we see them throughout the week for different activities and it is just great. Fun and friends is a must when homeschooling and a reasonable schedule to be on tracks. I am glad they have a healthy environment to grow their minds. My children attended public school for 7 years.. THEY ASKED ME to homeschool them.

I am looking into Homeschooling my 6th grader. She is a very smart student. However, she is very backwards and has a hard time relating to other kids. I have no idea where to began to get this process started. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
